Tuesday 7th September arrive at 14:20 in San Francisco, acquire a hotel close to Emily's crib and she can show us around and sort out some jokes stuff to do.
Friday 10th September - Drive from San Fran to Santa Cruz for the weekend (72 Miles), hopefully there will be stuff going on at the weekend, Emily should know about this.
Sunday 12th September - Drive from Santa Cruz to Lake Tahoe (South) it should be about 185 miles, so basic maths would tell me it would take us aound 3 hours at 60mph, thanks alot Mr Askew!
See the below link for activities to do at the lake.

I'm interested in such things as Climbing, Biking, Hiking, Rafting and other water sports. So we could be there for a solid 2 days before moving on. Should be off the equator! Looks like we may need to travel to Tahoe City for greatest variety of activities.
'September and October (and mid-Spring) are also very good months, without big crowds and with a normally nice and pleasant weather. These are also the cheapest months for accommodation.'

Tuesday 14th/Wednesday 15th September - Leave Lake Tahoe for Yosemite National Park (90-100 miles), spend a day or two here, doing some hiking and maybe biking depending on what we do in Lake Tahoe.
Thursday 16th/Friday 17th September - Leave Yosemite for Vegas (400 odd Miles) Will take around 7 hours, so a day long drive! I would suggest doing this on the thursday night / friday morning so we are fresh in Vegas for Friday night. You know it all goes down on the weekend! Just like how we know Tigers love pepper and hate cinnamon
Monday 20th September - Leave Vegas for Hoover Damn (30 Miles), then head back in the direction of San Diego, on the way we can stop off at Joshua Tree (212 Miles - 4 hours) and maybe Palm Springs, see what all the fuss is about.
Tuesday 21st/Wednesday22nd - Leave Joshua Tree/Palm Springs to San Diego it is (166 miles)
We could maybe spend the Wednesday/Thursday checking out L.A/Hollywood then head down to San Diego for the weekend.
From then we need to decide where would be best to spend the weekend, San Diego or L.A, i'd prob say San Diego, we can hit up the Zoo in the daytime too.
If we left San Diego on the Sunday we could make our way back up the Coast, hitting every beach along the way, ending up at Huntington close to LAX airport.
From huntington beach to LAX it's 35 miles
